Terms of Service

Clausi is a software service at www.claus-i.com that uses AI to generate email marketing flows (and companion SMS copy) from the brand details you provide. You can copy the output anywhere, and on eligible plans, push email templates into your own Klaviyo account.

Clausi generates copy. It does not send email, manage your subscriber lists, or guarantee marketing results. Sending is done by your email platform under your account and their terms.

You need an account to use Clausi. Keep your credentials secure; activity under your account is your responsibility.

New accounts get 3 free generations. Paid plans (Starter $49/mo, Pro $99/mo, Agency $249/mo) begin with a 7-day free trial and renew monthly through Stripe until cancelled. You can cancel any time from the billing portal in Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Plan limits (such as generations per month) reset each billing cycle and don't roll over.

The brand details you enter remain yours. The email and SMS copy Clausi generates for you is yours to use commercially, without attribution, on any plan, including copy generated during the free trial.

You're responsible for what you send. Review generated copy before using it, and make sure your emails comply with the laws that apply to you (CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, TCPA for SMS) and with your email platform's policies. AI-generated claims about your own products are still your claims.

Klaviyo and Shopify integrations use API credentials that you supply from your own accounts. You must have the right to use those credentials. Clausi uses your Klaviyo key only to create templates when you request a push, and your Shopify token only to read product data. Your relationship with those platforms is governed by their terms, not ours.

Don't use Clausi to generate spam, deceptive or fraudulent marketing, or content that's unlawful where you operate. Don't resell raw access to the service, probe or disrupt it, or use it to build a directly competing dataset. Agency plans may use Clausi on behalf of clients; that's what they're for.

Clausi is provided as-is. We work hard to keep it fast and reliable, but we don't warrant uninterrupted availability or that generated copy will achieve any particular open rate, click rate, or revenue outcome. Benchmarks shown in the product are industry research, not promises.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date, and continued use after that constitutes acceptance. If we ever discontinue the service, we'll give paying customers reasonable notice.
